About Us

Experience Africa with us.

There is no substitute for experience.

For more than three decades, Nathan Regal Safaris has been delivering exceptional hunting experiences to sportsmen and women from around the world. As a family-owned and owner-operated safari company, we pride ourselves on offering authentic African adventures built on integrity, professionalism, and genuine hospitality.

My passion for hunting began long before Nathan Regal Safaris was established. Growing up in a hunting family and as the son of a respected master taxidermist, I developed a deep appreciation for Africa's wildlife and hunting heritage from an early age. I began my career in taxidermy more than 34 years ago, gaining an understanding of wildlife that extends far beyond the hunt itself.

Today, that same passion and commitment are at the heart of every safari we conduct.

Based in South Africa's beautiful Free State Province, our hunting concessions extend across the Free State, Northern Cape, Eastern Cape, Mpumalanga, Limpopo and Namibia. These diverse regions offer an outstanding variety of plains game, dangerous game, exceptional wing shooting, and memorable waterfowl hunting in some of Southern Africa's most breath-taking landscapes.

Whether you are pursuing your first African trophy or returning to complete a lifelong dream, every safari is personally planned and professionally guided to suit your individual expectations. We intentionally limit the number of safaris we conduct each season, allowing us to provide every client with our full attention and a truly personalized experience.

For non-hunting companions and wildlife enthusiasts, we also offer photographic safaris and game-viewing experiences, showcasing Africa's remarkable wildlife in its natural environment.

Our extensive taxidermy background provides clients with complete confidence that every trophy will receive the care and attention it deserves. We understand that every animal represents not only a successful hunt, but also a cherished memory that deserves to be preserved for generations.

At Nathan Regal Safaris, we believe that the finest safaris are built on relationships. Many of our clients return year after year, not simply because of the quality of the hunting, but because they become part of our extended family.

From your first enquiry to your final farewell, our commitment is simple—to provide an authentic African safari defined by exceptional service, ethical hunting, unforgettable memories, and lifelong friendships.

We invite you to discover Africa as it was meant to be experienced.
